Georgie and I went to get his glasses adjusted and then uptown exchange Sandy's present and by Donna's birthday present. Later we went home and I finished the ironing. George came home for lunch and to get his guns all organized. Grandma Loyd called. Kind of a foggy day today. George left for Sonoma at 8 PM. Boys and I watch TV and then to bed. Boys teasing me about who was the boss now that dad was gone.

A balmy beautiful day just like spring Joe's took the whole family on an airplane ride. The first for the boys and die. It was wonderful, just like another world up there. Had pheasant for dinner. Joe and his family came over and eve. A wish us ahappy new year. Howells also came over later for a drink. Later in the kit with the duty glasses, I realized it was the end of the holidays and the start of a fresh new year which God willing pray will be as good as our last.
